In love with Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint

The younger you are, the better basis your skin offers to apply foundation. However, being young and dewy by nature, your skin doesn’t really need foundation. The older you get, the more you crave a little cover up. At the same time, makeup and older skin don’t always work that well together. If you choose a drier, powdery compact foundation, chances are that it ends up in the fine lines and wrinkles around mouth and eyes. If you choose an oily, richer fluid foundation, it’s quite likely that your t-zone shines like a Christmas tree, or that you – as in my case – break out in spots. Life ain’t fair.

A while ago I received Liz Earle’s Sheer Skin Tint to test. I have been in love ever since. It’s rich and creamy, yet lightweight. It’s got SPF15, i.e. it spares me slapping on the sunscreen underneath. It’s super easy to apply – just use your fingertips to blend it into your skin.

Having spent most of the summer under the Southern European sun, I am currently using their medium shade, beige. I’d most likely go for the palest shade, bare, otherwise.

There is one brand new tube of Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint in bare waiting for a lovely reader to be won. Just tell me a bit about your personal beauty routine and add a comment below until Friday, 30th of September, 6pm.
